MotherboardId v1.1 by Relja Markovic

MotherboardId is just a simple program I wrote to identify motherboards. Sometimes you have to rebuild a computer or help someone decide whether to upgrade theirs, and more often than not, they won’t know what motherboard they have. This program lets you find that out without opening the PC. It gathers data from your computer, checks it against a list of manufacturers & models on the web, and shows you the results. Simple.

Just so you know, you’ll need the .NET framework installed on your computer, but these days you should already have that installed, right? MotherboardId has been tested on Windows 2000, 2003 and XP. Not sure if it will work on Win9x / NT.

Troubleshooting

You may get a ‘Application Failed to Initialize’ error if you do not have the .NET framework installed on your computer.

In that case you can download .NET directly from Microsoft: Microsoft's .NET 1.1 download site
